Join us at Patagonia for a town hall discussion on October 23rd! We’ll discuss the frightening future proposed for Parley’s Canyon, the state of the proposal, and ways you can get involved to oppose the mine.
Parley’s Canyon is the iconic eastern gateway to our Capital city, and the heart of the Wasatch Mountains we all hold dear. It is already challenged with dust from an existing mine, and is now under threat from a new 634 acre mine, which threatens our air and water quality. 139,000 people living within a 3-mile radius makes the canyon a high-risk location for residents.
Meet us at Patagonia at 6:30 PM for light refreshments before the presentation begins at 7 PM.
This is a free event but registration is strongly encouraged.
